Help answer this question below.
It's like stream-of-consciousness e-mail. You link it to your phone and get information bites from everyone you subscribe to. My daughter's university professors send information to the students instantly using twitter. You may subscribe to a news agency, for example, and get headlines sent to your phone as they are reported. It's too much for me. I got overloaded and disabled my acct.
Twitter is a service for friends, family, and co–workers to communicate and stay connected through the exchange of quick, frequent answers to one simple question. For instance: What are you doing?
This way you can stay in touch with everyone without the problem of distance posing a problem.
Does that help?
Egotistical people broadcast summaries of their days to vapid people who find it interesting.
Waste of electrons bouncing the earth. I sell appliances and people send me emails all the time saying "I sent you a twitter message..didn't you get it?" Sent it to where? i don't have no steenkin twitter account...
In short, it's a waste of time for twits. Hence, twitter.
another way of electronic gobbledey gook aimless chit chat.
The personal equivalent of filling dead air time.
Ie: I am sitting here waiting for the paint to dry.
Isn't that exciting?
A waste of time.
I made a twitter account and got bored after about 2 mins. Just went on and checked to see how its doing for this post. I've got 2 followers!
2 of which are porn advertisements lol
it's used to satisfy the overwhelming ego of people who think the whole world should listen to them ... just an ego stroke for self-important a-holes
You know what i can't be bothered....its crap ;)
