probably....I eat meat, but don't think I would kill something to eat it...not because am against it, just never have done & think would be hard for me to & also gross.....am sure I would make do w/out the meat & eat veggies, beans, fruits, rice & pasta

no, it is regular for people in my culture to eat what we kill.
I could do it, I wouldn't be as skilled, I haven't gone hunting since I was a kid.
but I'm sure if my mother took me w/her, I would relearn everything I needed to do it.

I've done that in the past. We used to raise most of what we ate. That way we knew exactly how the animals were being treated and how they were killed. We felt it was a good thing to really know what went into our food and take that responsibility for ourselves. If I couldn't do it myself I would be a vegetarian but I know that I can.

No, I philosophically can't delegate my killing if I'm not willing to do it. I live on a small hobby farm and we raise our own chickens. When it comes time for the axe I can't lie to them and say "it's okay" because it's not. Strange code of honor gotta be straight with them.

It would depend on what there was to eat vegetarian wise. If there was plenty then perhaps, but if i HAD to kill to eat that would mean there wasn't that much around to grow either. I sure wouldn't let myself starve to avoid killing an animal. Most meat eating animals would eat me if they had to starve, but not herbivorous. I would still kill to avoid starvation. Starvation is an extremely painful way to go..
