If there is only one belt, that runs everything, there are 2 different styles of tensioners. One if a fixed tensioner, and the other is an adjustable tensioner. If you have the fixed tensioner, and your belt is loose, you need to replace it. On the adjustable tensioner, there will be a bolt or nut around the pully, that locks the pully in place, when desired tension is achieved. There should also be another, longer bolt, near the pully, that will either increase or decrease the belts tension, when tightened or loosened. First loosen the one that locks the pulley in place, then turn the adjusting bolt, clockwize to tighten belt, or counter clockwize to loosen belt. when desired tension is achieved, re-tighten locking bolt.
