    John.

I must say, I started reading the first book and hated it. All you have to do is read David Eddings "The Belgariad" and some of Tony Shillitoes work, and you'll immediatley see where Paolini got his ideas.

The first Inheritance book is so scarily similar to Eddings first (Pawn of Prophecy) that he must have taken some form of it to write his book.

There was alot of hype because this kid started writing the series when he was only 15, but honestly, anyone can write a book if they use other peoples ideas.

I love the first and second books. They give such amazing detail and are so creative. I can sit for several hours reading and rereading the two.

I'm personally excited for the third book, the end of the trilogy. I want to know what happens, but I wish there were more then just three books to it.

I am enjoying the second book, Eldest. Wanted to know when the third book would be on the shelves so I can get it. Does anyone know when it will be available?

I have read the first 2 books and loved them. But, hey. I know the 3rd books name! It is not "Empire" as some of you say. It is "Fricaya" the ancient language for "friend" Trust me, I checked the official website!!!

I am not a reader of Science Fiction or Fantasy, but I read Eragon out loud to my then-8-year-old son. He loved it, and he loved the film. We only got about a third of the way through Eldest, and he lost interest. I thought the books were over-written and verbose. We won't likely be reading the third (or fourth) book in the series, but if an Eldest film is produced, we will likely check it out.

If only it was a Trilogy, and if only the Third was called Empire.
