  • how about a musical or some sort of public display
  • Bake sales always go down a treat (no pun intended). You could also arrange for some disco's/supervised mixers for the kids, where they pay a small fee upon entry and have a donation box set up for parents to give to.
  • plan a pancake breakfast..or a carwash..or a marathon .. a big buffet .. a concert with food and dancing..soething to draw the crowds and reach your intended goal of $4500
  • TOPLESS CAR WASH... and dont wash the tops of the cars. 3 bucks for the topless kind, 5 dollars for the regular. =)
  • I'm looking for some good ideas as well. I have to raise money for the Grade 8 Graduation trip to help subsidize what the kids' have to pay out of pocket. If you get any good ideas, let me know.
  • how about a jail & bail? People get put in a jail for a number of bad deeds... such as teacher assigning too much homework, or friend looking too good... whatever silliness... and you have to set the bail in order for somebody to buy them out of there.
  • You could also make a cookbook - have the teachers & students sumbit recipies... you can do them online real quick at www.gateway.com and I'm sure there are many others online too. You could then sell the books at your bake sale....

  • How about offering to do errands, tasks for the local retirement center, senior center for a price.
  • Keep it simple. Ask the students for any items they would like to donate for your committee. Then auction them off in a lot over eBay or sell them on Craig's list. It should work if you don't get too much trash.
