No I do not. Do you NUNYA?
I use too...wish I would have had it after Hurricane Katrina... would have used it on the beach...:)
No, I have enough junk! lol
Husband does.
My husband does.
certainally do -found alsorts of junk with it so far do you?
Yes I do.
I have a Fisher Metal detector. It is still like new since I have only used it a few times in the two years since I bought it.
I think it would be more fun to have a detecting partner and maybe a little safer.
I didn't think about how vulnerable I was wearing headphones alone and moving slowly through secluded park areas till after I bought it.
I have only used it a couple of times, I found neat stuff though.
yep !!!... my wife can detect any metal coins( gold coins ) I have ...lol
My son owned one a while back then he sold it for a fiver at a car boot sale:)
No, but that would probably be a good thing to have where I live.
No but if i did i would use it to find the rusty parts of my brain.Lol
I have three of them at home. They can tell how much change I have in my pocket at about fifty meters.
UMMMMMM NO i would like one though
Yup, I have two. Got started on the island of Okinawa looking for WWII artifacts. I did find UXO, unexploded ordnance.
Just my hands.
no.....
metal detector... my wife has better sensors than a metal detector
No I do not.
NO. 1) Too old to hold and operate such equipment
2) No room for it in our RV
3) Not good for back I heard from others
4) It would look like I want to get rich - I feel very happy as a poor girl........ Well - forget point 4...
Yup. It's a lot of fun.
I recently purchased a Garret Ace 250 detector. I bought it for a couple of reasons.
1/ I knew I was going to be bored over the next few months while recuperating from surgery and using one ( this one is very light) would be physically easy and yet provide some exercise.
2/ I live on 17 acres of pioneer land. The original homestead foundations are in my orchard and I'm constantly having artifacts ( granted mostly pottery and metal debris) come to the surface in the gardens or due to frost heave. Some interesting finds though. Bound to be the odd circa 1830 and up coin out there, since this plot of land was deeded by the Crown in 1831 and the original house built in 1832.
3/ The particular detector I purchased has a decent search coil and can be used in up to 3 feet of water. Handy for use during my local dive club's environmental clean up days, where we remove garbage from local beaches and out in the water. I reckon it'll come in handy for the kids participating or for non diver adults.
Does anyone have a metal detector? What treasure did you find?
