This question has scared me.. I have no clue what I have done with my birth certificate (we get the originals here)! It should never have been entrusted to me!

Lol yes, Ok so it don't sound funny but here's the story.
About 14 years ago I told my mother I needed my birth certificate for a job, well my oldest brother brought me it along with 20 black and white copies of it. After I showed my employeer it, I gave the original back to her.
8 years later I received my original again from my mother along with some other papers. My ex husband took my original and lost it! So I ordered a certified copy from the state. 6 years later the original showed up.
Long story short I do have it, all be it 22 copies, 1 original, 1 certified copy and 20 black and white!

After my folks died I looked through their stuff and couldn't find it. I didn't really know exactly where I was born, so I asked my cousin who is almost the exact same age and he told me where he was born and I checked that town and there it was. So yes.
