I took 3 ecstasy pills for the first time... My boyfriend took the exact same amount and rolled his ass off. Why didn't I roll at all? It wasn't a horrific experience much less a bad one, just non-eventful. No euphoria, no energy, no strong emotion...

Ecstasy was made illegal in 1985.

It may not have affected you this last time, but with more use you should start seeing some results.

I found some information on one "result" that you might find interesting...

"Although further studies are needed, more and more research suggests that Ecstasy causes serotonin levels to drop below normal, which impairs the brain's ability to learn, retain information and regulate mood. It appears that Ecstasy causes serotonin receptors, which allow the serotonin to fire in the brain, to shrink from overuse. Some evidence shows that restoration of serotonin receptors is possible with continued abstinence from the drug, but that people who have never taken Ecstasy have more functioning serotonin receptors than those who have.

Other studies suggest that regular or heavy Ecstasy use has long-term negative effects on memory and brain function which go well beyond the last pill taken (and seem to continue to increase in spite of long-term abstinence from the drug). One study found that women are particularly vulnerable to damage to the serotonin system by MDMA."

Basically... Is there anything that can cause you not too roll other than having bad rolls?


My question is why didn't I roll after taking 3 pills. one white lady, one white transformer, one blue mazda. I took the first one at 10pm and felt nothing even after 45 minutes when I took the second, (taken in order of listing), and the third at midnight. Directly after I took the 2nd pill i smoked two bowls of nicely resinated crippy weed... My boyfriend declined to smoke. Weirdly I never got high from the weed. I really had no blurry vision, euphoric feelings, or energy bursts. The atmosphere was a hip hopish nightclub and I was with people that I have great times with on other mind-altering substances. I had the vicks, I had the OJ, and I can't think of anything that caused me not to roll.

The fact that I never got high off the weed strikes me as odd, since that has never happened before in the 9 years of my stoner life. I had no leftover narcotics in my system from previous recreational endevours.

Towards the end of the night, dancing was the very last thing on my mind and I felt like there were downers in my system.

Around 5 am i felt agitated at life and had normal post-rolling side effects like depression, sleepless, appetite loss and some glitches in memory. Those side effects quickly faded about an hour later. No lock jaw at all...

And I should state that there was maybe one little speck on one of the beans. Other than that they seemed pretty decent.

Can anyone help me figure out why i wasnt rolling?
If you can't then could you please give me good roll inducing ideas...

Well same thing happened to me..
One of my guy friends took ecstasy at the same time as me..
he went crazyy.. and i felt normall..
turns out its cause he was straight edge before he took the pill..
I had done vikining and a lot other things so it didnt hit me..
but it hit him like crazy..
