Actually...WalMart is one of those companies (like McDonald's) whose traffic tends to INCREASE when the economy is down. People go back to settling for inexpensive, low quality products to save money.
That always surprises me, too. Maybe the customers are unemployed, part timers, or night shift workers. And after all, Wal-Mart is especially popular these days because everyone's trying to save money by shopping at cheaper stores.
A bunch of old folks with nothing better to do than annoy Mal-wart workers.
