Is it normal for your yoga mat to stick to your feet and hands during practice?

What if you are not sweating, and the mat is just sticky... Lol are all the mats sticky?

    Well, alot of people call them "sticky mats" - they're supposed to help you get a good grip so you're not sliding all over the place. That's why they're made of the material that is somewhat sticky - for the grip.

    it is better to stick than to slide off when you start to sweat... that's what I do.. I'm looking for a well padded cotton mat that I like. you can also buy a nice rug you like.(or an old one of course) it doesn't have to be a sticky mat.

    yes b/c your sweat will stick to it. i dont think they have a stick resistant one yet.
