In high school what untruths were a topic spoke amongst students to one another when you went? I remember hearing that if you use a toilet seat you could catch VD.

    The one that always made me laugh was that if you swallowed chewing gum you would have rubber babies, that and if you swallowed apple pips an apple tree would grow inside of you.

    Technically speaking, you still can catch 'VD's from a toilet seat, such as hepatitis A. Here's why. Some people presume that the toilet is clean and just sit on it. There may have been someone on it just twenty seconds ago, and left a drop of bodily fluid on the seat. You sit down, have a pimple on your bottom, and presto, you get the disease.
