So far, my favorite city that I have visited would have to be Santa Cruz, California. I love that city. Very peaceful and relaxing. Beautiful sunsets and sunrises. Plus my wife is from there, so it has been good to me.

Florence, Italy. If ever there was a place made of history, romance, art and food, this is it. It is like a pearl, just perfect in every way. From the Medieval Cathedral (whose dome you can climb to get the best view over the city), to the Baptistry with its doors called "The Gates of Heaven", to the Belltower, to the Palazzo Vecchio (home to the Medici Family) to the Basilica of Santa Croce (with Giotto's frescos of St Francis), to the statue of David, and also of Persus by Cellini, to the Ponte Vecchio, the only surviving medieval bridge, with its gold shops, to the Uffizzi Gallery (Michelangelo, Da Vinci, Botticelli et al) to the resautrants, the markets...nothing compares with Florence. :-)

Toss up between New Orleans (pre-Katrina), and Lahaina, Hawaii. I love Singapore, too, but it's really too humid for me to put it at the top of the list.

Cape Town. Berlin, Paris and Edinburgh are all very special, but Cape Town gets it for the people, the weather, lifestyle, and the surrounding countryside with its astonishing beaches, wineries and hills. Having a mountain in the city is rather cool as well, as is being almost at the confluence of the South Atlantic and Indian Oceans.

Cap d'Agde (pronounced "cop DOG duh"), Southern France

It is the world's largest nudist resort and right now, there are over 40,000 naked people from all over the world, sunning and "funning."
