Rachel Alexandra
I'm looking forward to the race :-)
I like the way Rachel Alexander looks. I also was impressed with the way Mine That Bird won the Kentucky Derby. It might be hard on him to have a new jockey.
I still like the way he was so mighty for a smaller horse. I think Mine The Bird will prevail Saturday.
I have been told not to place a bet on a horse race which is a seller but what is a seller?

Hi Ed, I'm looking forward to it, too!! You may be right. I don't think Mine That Bird will do as well as in the Derby - and believe the win was attained because I Want Revenge was scratched. Can't wait to see the race! :-)

I was just wondering if the weather is going to be bad on Saturday. Looks like the east coast is in for a rainy weekend. Mine That Bird might just win again, but I don't think he will.

I saw I Want Revenge and really thought he was the horse to beat in the Kentucky Derby. He had great speed. It was a shame about his injury.

Hi Ed, I'm not sure about the weather on Saturday. It is supposed to be heavy storms, wind and rain here in Chicago.
Sal, if I Want Revenge was not scratched I really think he would have won. He opened a spot for Mine That Bird. I wonder what will happen on Saturday?? It is going to be an exciting race!! :-) Great to see you here, Sal!!

It will be exciting--Chicago Lady. I just hope the horses do not have bad weather.

My co-workers place small bets on the big races. We had I Want Revenge on four of our tickets. Next time we might just place bets on all the long shots :-)

Sounds like a good plan! :-)

Only 13 horses in Saturday's field. If I bet $5 on each to win, a longshot would make me money. But I don't gamble much.

Ed, You sound like a businessman and an astute investor. What I like to call a "Strategic Thinker." Please let me know how your intriguing plan pays off..... If you recover your allocation plus earn a profit, it will pay off! Good Luck!! :-)
