It's impossible to say, because GPA isn't the only thing they're looking at. They also look at MCAT scores, interviews, extracurriculars, etc. Your combination of all of them should be optimal. For instance, if your MCAT scores aren't that great, your GPA needs to balance it out. (My MCATs were average, and my GPA was 3.59.) I used to interview for a medical school, and we weren't told the applicant's GPA or MCAT scores. We were supposed to form our impressions based on the actual meeting with the candidate, not just a transcript. In the end, though, I don't know what goes on behind closed doors when the Admissions Committee meets. I suspect it's different for different schools. Good luck to you!
