Bottom of ninth game tied with bases loaded. Without hitting a HR, how many runs can be scored. Can a batter get a ground rule double in this scenario with just one rbi?

    Scoring rules allow 4 RBIs for a home run, but only 1 for any other action, and none for errors.

    My contention is that the game is over as soon as the first run scores regardless of where the ball hits fair, unless it's a homerun, in which case all runners on base and batter would count for runs...

    YES IT CAN HAPPEN WITH A GROUND RULE DOUBLE,
    BUT THE ANSWER CAN BE 4 ,, SIMPLEY IF THE hr IS AN INSIDE THE PARK HR.
    3 IF THE BATTER HITS A TRIPLE.
