  • I can't see why not. It's not like it's president of the USA. Well, maybe not a sex offender. Don't they have to register or something with local police? Parole requirements?
  • If you are speaking of the U.S., each state has it's own laws and commissions regulating condominium matters. Personally, I know of no state that precludes convicted felons from serving on an association board, if he/she has been so elected by the membership or appointed by the board in accordance with the condominium regulations, which are usually in compliance with state laws/regulations. +5
  • I think that would be up to what is outlined in the CC&R's, The By-Laws and the Operating Rules of that particular association. Just as any private company can hire a felon if it wishes to, I suppose any condo association board can allow a felon to serve on that board as well. :)
