Got a bill claiming an outstanding balance from a physician/State of Georgia after 5 years. Is there a statute of limitations how long a claim can be made. This is his first reminder. I did pay always to his office right away after Medic

    they can claim a bill up to 7 years later. at least that is what happened when i got a bill that was 6 years old from a phone company, i went to my lawyer and he said i have to pay it
