- I boil up sliced lemons in water, put the juice (with some lemon) in jug, add copious amounts of honey and whiskey/brandy stir and ....enjoy.

Ny-Quil at nite...I do get a little drowsy. Day-Quil in the day time, clears my sinuses up without any problem.

Also, at night, just try a warm cup of Theraflu for colds. It doesn't taste particular great, but it'll knock you right out, allowing your body to fully rest, and you'll wake up better.

For coughing and sore throats, I suggest a condensed concoction of lime/lemon and honey in warm water, 3-4 times daily. This is like the miracle potion -- and oh'naturale!!
