Have you ever taken a cross country trip for the fun of it? Was it fun?

    Yeah I got in the car and drove from Rhode Island to St. Louis. It was a blast! I stopped in Columbus and a bunch of other places along the way and went up the Arch in St. Louis. Good times.

    Yes I have travelled across America, and a large part of Europe, Also Australia though not the centre, and on the whole they were fun some days were not great.

    I travelled from the south of India to the Himalayas, and saw much beauty and poverty but due to circumstances , that was not fun at all

    I have done it 4 times.Southern Florida to Canada,to the west coast and down to southern California. From California to Florida and back .From Florida to Washington state through the southern states and north from California.And California through the central states to central Canada,return. It was a little tiring but a lot of fun,for I did not follow the Freeways,because I would miss to much local culture. In Europe I traveled from Paris to Athens and return.
