Yes I do

Or you can look at it as someone getting treatment that may save their lives.

could be good news - a new baby!
-
I wish them good luck.

Actually never thought it that way. I am generally busy trying to change lanes and get out of the way.

We live in Hemet, California, a town loaded with Retirement Communities. So we hear sirens all the time. Whether it is a firetruck, paramedic, ambulance I can't always tell..but I think of it more as being a positive thing because it means help is on the way to someone who needs it! :)
-
Wow that's a "Glass is half empty" mentality. How about this: Every time you hear a siren, someone is getting the help they need, and that's a good thing.
-
After having been in one, can't help but remember
-
Ay que los tres clavos de la cruz Vayan delante de mi. "The three nails in the cross, go in the front of me." I make the sigen of the cross and say a little prayer.
-
That's not true. It's good news because it means someone is getting helped.
-
Well it does also mean the ambulance is off to help someone. Wow I can't believe I said something positive, I feel all dirty now. Damn medical cost issues and insurance and inaccessible health care, yeah that's better.
-
Breifly I consider the possibility that something bad has happened to someone, but mainly the noise of the siren puts me on edge. Louds noises bother me very much because they make me nervous and uncomfortable.
-
I perfer to look at it as good news. The good news is trained people are helping someone who is injured or ill. Often saving a life.
-
I live on the same road as the hospital... it is probably 200 m away from my house so ambulances go past all the time. some times i do not even notice them, but laying in bed at night i can hear them and i sometimes get sad and wonder who is in there ans what is wrong with them, then i sit there and hope that the people in the hospital are doing all they can to help them. this is like every night. I really gotta learn to tune out!

No...that is if you get hit by one that is :)
