Well you can't be fired for calling in sick, but as a casual they don't have to give you shifts. I would just take it as a blessing in disguise and get another job. Good luck! :0)

If you are a casual employee, that's another name for a temp employee. They can terminate your contract at any time. Its best not to dwell. Just move on to bigger and better things.
I think if you have work for over 6 months you sholud file for unemployment because thats not right.

You're reading I got fired for calling in sick, should I just get over it and start the jobsearch, or should I take it further.. (I am a casual employee- in Australia)
