  • Luckily, my parents left this decision to me. their only demand was to get a good education, and they supported that. I went to college and majored in art history. I am a museum curator, things worked out nicely.

  • My parents financed my educational path, although I contriubted to same over many years, as well. They did not interfere in the career path I chose on my own. As such, it would seem that they agreed and supported my decisions. I enjoyed a very successful career, retiring at age 55, some sixteen years ago. +5

  • Coming from a large family, my parents always encouraged us to follow our dreams and wanted us to choose some form of education to fulfill them. Hence we have polititians, nurses, teachers, quilters, and artists. They were fully supportive of our choices.
