  • I can save much time and many more dollars Nightwatchdog ol friend ... GUILTY as charged. ;)
  • Absolutely, ALL criminals should be prosecuted.
  • That's what all the wacko liberals would love to see. The problem is that torture is far worse then what you guys are trying to make it seem. Anything that we put our own military soldiers through as training to prepare for capture is hardly torture.
  • I would say yes.
  • You'd think so but I doubt it. America was aware of it and the entire government approved of it. We are allas guilty as Nazi Germany was. We cannot be tried and hung for not standing up to a despot and a country who followed him blindly. However we can be mrally and financially resposible for the damages to the civilian populations of countries devastated by a war based on greed and the ambitions of base and evil men and women, Namely the Bush Cabinet. Instead of bailing out money lenders why not feed and house the devasted civilian poulations whose only crime it was ,was to be living above a large oil reserve. Call me unpatiotic but our of that entire cabinet, there are more lame excuses for not serving in Viet Nam and the Commander in Chief was a no-show. I am an honorably dicharged veteran and will speak my mind. These people are disgrceful liars thieves and murderers. If not for their position they would be tried and executed.
  • No, Another senseless investigation that will cost taxpayers millions and millions of dolars and will have no point because no one is ever going to serve a minute in jail no matter what the outcome. Our government has set itself above the law and no administration is going to prosecute a previous administration. They will likely have some skeletons in their own closet by the end of their term and don't want to be investigated themselves when the other party inevitably gets back into power which it always does, usually within two terms
  • If so, then every Senator and Congressman/woman (including President Obama) should be included in the investigation and have criminal charges brought since they all knew about the waterboarding and other tactics, from CNN reports if nothing else. This includes President Obama.
  • If we let this abuse of power stand, it becomes a precedent for how far presidential power can be pushed. It was a terrible mistake to pardon Nixon and all he did was sponsor some burglaries to try and rig an election. Now we have a president claiming dictatorial powers by right of a war he lied us into, then committing war crimes. Letting it stand will put us well down the slippery slope to totalitarian government and the end of the rule of law.
