"Never Let Me Go" by Kazuo Ishiguro. Centered around 3 childhood friends and their 'special' school in England where they are raised. Only as you read on, do you begin to fully realise what the term 'carer' means and the reason for the existence of these 3 friends and others like them. Chilling stuff and very disturbing as the 3 main characters never once question their roles in life. It is what they were bred for and they just accept it. It made me weep.

The Bitch Posse. Its about 3 teenage goth girls in the 80's. They're into drugs, sex and other things. The whole time the story goes from the 80's when they're in their teens and to the present where their older and looking back at their past. Ones in a mental institute for murdering a teacher whom her other freind was having a sexual affair with. Another one used to be a hardcore cutter and is pregnante but loses the baby when she goes into premature labor. And the last, was the girl having the affair with the teacher, and ends up preganate at 17 but gets a abortion.

"Haunted" by Chuck Palahniuk has some pretty disturbing parts. Before that I tried to read "Naked Lunch" and I couldn't even get all the way through it because it was so disturbing.
