Buy them and wait until the ripen all the way. It only takes a couple of days. It's best if you let them sit under the sun.

I buy discounted bananas on the clearance rack.. people in NY do not want any yellow or brown skin on bananas.

We have them here in IL ... but even if they're not ripe ... just put them in a brown paper bag and they should be ripe in a couple days. Don't refrigerate them.

Green bananas are quite nice, I prefer them to yellow bananas

Take a bunch of green ones home andplace them inside a paper bag. In a few days...Perfectly ripe bananas. I mean since you can't just stumble upon one anyway and that is taking days... Just let them ripen. What's the difference?

Buy your green bananas .. set them in window sill or on refrigerator ... in about two - three days ; you will have GREAT tasting bananas ... nice a fresh.

They are picked well underripe, to reduce rot on route across the globe.

Leave it out a few days it will ripen. No problem where I live. Lots of ripe banana's. In fact I'll have me a banana sandwich for lunch.

You are all missing the question! He is asking "Where are the perfectly ripe bananas?". Why suddenly now is there no ripe ones left?????
