Ignorance can be changed by learning more, even if the ignorance is a chosen state. Stupidity cannot be changed. It is especially sad if people can change their ignorance and choose not to.

I like to simplify my words. The difference between ignorance and stupidity is enjoyment. We learn ignorance. Human nature is inherently ignorant. But when we begin to have fun with our own ignorance, it turns into stupidity. And that's just...well...stupid!

Ignorance is when you are fully explained something, you understand it, but you choose to ignore it or distrust it out of your own personal morals, or you just choose to ignore it regardless of it's importance. Stupidity is when you are fully explained something, twelve times, in a different way every time, and you still don't get it. It is stupid to be ignorant, because ignorance is counter-productive. If you don't get that, you are stupid. Get it?
