Your inner voice - sometimes known as God -in either case, it's good to listen now and then.
Ringing/static sound in my left ear, Tinnitus.
Nothing but sweet peace.

Except your own thoguhts.

A faint hum due to hearing loss. I am a musician and from playing on stage as well as rehearsals for so many years I lost some of my hearing as well as when I was in the Army and drove armored personnel carriers.
electricity running thru. its quite soothing out here in the country to be quite honest
Jesus Voice saying "I Love You Child" He speaks in the spirit into my heart.

Tininitis, loud. Thousands of high pitched tones wavering up and down, several low tones that fill my ears then go away, high pitched erratic beats like a ceramic bowl being hit by a glass rod.

My thoughts

If it was really silent then you wouldn't hear anything. But even if your deaf you'd still hear your thoughts
My mind answering my questions!
Peace....harmony within the universe...joy of those souls gone before us, trying to pass on their knowledge and wisdom...oneness with the world of nature....

My own breathing and sometimes even my heart and all the clocks in the house. When a car goes past outside it seems quite loud. When the TV is on I cannot hear them.
Answers.
Solitude....and solace......
The sound of the universe.
The subtle hum of nothingness.
sound of silence is louder then words spoken
the clamor of my noisy mind...sshhh!
Silence holds all sound. The one listening for the sound, is the sound itself. They are not two. I hear everything in silence.

Nothing! It's so awesome!
I mean the silence in the desert...
I think the silence itself, I often find myself listening and just enjoying the silence.
