  • Many things come into play here such as same tire size and ratings. Take both vehicles to a tire shop and let an expert make these decisions for you. Auto tires are not something to play with.
  • Read the whole answer before putting them on. Technically, you can put any tires on any vehicle. However, there are weight differentials, rim sizes, lug nut spacings for those rims, speedometer readings, make/model (of the tires and vehicle), and other factors to consider, but sure, you can "put them on". Safety is the main concern here, though. The tires on the Caravan may or may not be compatible with the Taurus. There are still those factors to consider. To be sure, you really need to speak with a tire specialist. Most dealers and "good" auto-parts stores should have at least one person on staff to answer your specific questions.
  • Maybe. Tire Rack indicates that a 2000 Dodge Caravan uses 215/65-15 tires, while a 1993 Ford Taurus uses 205/65-15. FYI... 205 = tread width in millimeters 65 = height of sidewall as percentage of width 15 = rim size in inches. If these are in fact the tire sizes you have, then you can make this swap. The 10mm difference in width will probably have little effect (other than making your speedometer slightly off). If however, the tire sizes are more dissimilar, then you need to reconsider. Good luck.
