My opinion is that Las Vegas will not see a professional sports team for at least 5 years, if not longer, hell if ever.
The city and what it stands for have caused a lot of controversy for professional sports.
I think the NFL would be the most likely to award a franchise before anyone else if Las Vegas ever got a team. Though I heard recently that the NHL was looking into relocating a dismal, fairly close franchise there or to San Diego possibly as early as 2011.
Seems more of a resort town that would just be distracted to have a steady attendance. But if they did I bet it would be called "The Gamblers" or something to that extent.
Good luck to them if they do.
Yes, it is just a matter of time. I am thinking that it will be a basketball team first.

If a player has posesion of the ball as hes runnin up the sideline,gets off balance,steps out of bounds(w/out touching the ball out of bounds and the ball is still bouncing in bounds)can the player regain posesion after gettin both feet back in?link pleas

I dunno. I've been here all my life,the city just doesnt sem to respond when there is talk of a pro team moving here. you'd think there would be a buzz or a movement started here for it. But it doesnt happen. The mayor is more interested than the people who live here.
