Did Howard K. Stern really love Anna Nicole or was he just utterly obsessed with her?

    I think he THINKS he loved her, but was really obsessed and infatuated for the most part. I don't think he was necessarily an enormous part of her overall problems either. Aside from being an enabler to some degree, which MANY regular folks are in their daily lives with a loved one, I think he was more of someone to cling to for her and she did and he liked it. I don't think he is a particularly bright man in general, so the fact that he is kind of bumbling around within this tragedy is not a horrific surprise. Do I think he was an evil and malicious presence in her life? No, I really don't. I think he is just a dude who, like anyone, was on a wild ride with a wild woman, and he got bucked off and now he is reeling. The whole thing is very sad. I do hope the best for that poor child.

    He thought the video of her inebriated, painted as a clown (or skull as I see it, I think it is chilling) would fetch a lot of money. Doesn't sound loving to me. Obsessed maybe, but love, no.
