Help answer this question below.

Does anyone out there know of a really good New Zealand wine or wine avalible in New Zealand im looking for a real sweet fruity wine more than likely a dessert wine to introduce myself to wine with.

    Sauvignon Blanc from the Marlborough region are renowned. Don't scrimp, but don't go overboard either. Cloudy Bay is kinda a flagship wine. Sauv Blancs are not usually sweet, but are a crisp summer sipper, best served chilled. Whites are usually a good point to begin drinking wine, and off dry whites are usually the most gentle, benign starters. Since you are heading into the cool season down there, check out some Pinot Noirs. It may take a bit to get past the fact that wine is an acidic drink, and reds contain tannins that might seem bitter at first. Don't give up, rather explore how the wine tastes in the different parts of your mouth. Explore the aroma of the wine, and then try to interpret how that evolves in the flavor. Then, don't forget to explore the finish, or "follow through" as the flavors hang around in your senses. Most of all, experiment! There are tons of wines out there!

    Skip the sweet wines! Try any Sauvignon Blanc from St. Claire. Try any Pinot Noir from Palliser Estate.
