  • Favorite is tied between Lord of the Flies and The Outsiders. Do not remember least favorite.
  • I remember them Pip or Chip books they were for the very first years for school. I also liked them adventure books where you chose different pages for different adventures, really loved them! :)
  • Catcher in the Rye and for the least favorite Franny and Zooey both by JD Salinger
  • least favorite : Catherine, called birdy. favorite: none . My teachers have no taste in books what so ever.
  • Third grade the teacher read to us "Old Joe". It was so sad and terrible that we all cryed, every day.Parents got involved, the principal sat in,finally we were asked to vote.We all agreed it was too sad,but we didn`t want to stop.We HAD to find out what happened to Old Joe.It took weeks. It was a book about abuse of animals.I really don`t think she should have read that to third graders. But if it kept some from being mean to dogs and animals it was worth it.
  • I'm an oldie and from the uk so I think schools all over the world teach differant things but when I was 13 we had a great woman teacher and every friday she would read us a few pages from a book the whole class picked. The one most of us liked was a booked called,"the children". It was set in Australia about a boy and a girl who find themselves having to survive in the out back. they are saved buy an aboriginal family who teach them how to survive. Not quite the excitement of todays books but it makes a whole lot of differance when the person reading the book is so carismatic and gets so involved with the characters. The worse book for me was,"shane" Good for sending me to sleep though.
  • Least favorite was A Seperate Peace.
  • favourite was lord of the flies or animal farm...least fave was a tale of two cities...
