Help answer this question below.

I'll try to ask it more clearly: (Excel Graph)-How can the x axis of the graph correspond to a row of data instead of showing numbers in a linear separation?

    You define the range of data which applies to each axis when you first set it up. If you are modifying an existing one, assuming its not read-only, simply bring up the tool dialog and switch the ranges for each of the x and y axis.

    Just like in Star Trek: "make it so". The only reason you have, as you say, "numbers in a linear separation" is because you haven't supplied any alternative to Excel. It has to graph "values" against SOMETHING.
