Loved. What is the purpose of being feared? Respected yes, honoured yes, but not outright feared. As the old proverb goes, you catch more flies with honey...so you get more joy with love.
-
Definitely loved. I would rather be happy than powerful.
-
LOVED I would'nt want anyone to ever fear me
-
Loved is the obvious answer and that's what I would choose also. However, imagine if there was no fear at all. At least in the company I work for, I can imagine complete anarchy in the workplace. It just would not function. (everybody wants to rule the world)
-
Loved of course. Because love's result is unity and fear's result is isolation.
-
Loved. I cannot possibly understand why anyone would prefer to be feared. It is not hard to make people fear you, but it takes alot to attract and maintain the love of many people.
-
It depends... You can control the fear, but love is harder to mantain... In the best of all worlds, I'd like to be loved, but since that can't be the case in our world, it might be better to be feared. Or, I'll just crack open The Prince once more and just copy and paste that.

Loved although I really do have to point out, Love causes fear when you think about it. How many people don't go for it because they're scared of getting hurt? And when you're in love, you develop all sorts of extraneous fears ie will they leave me? Are they mad at me? Are they going to hurt me? So being loved and feared is almost the same thing if you look at it a certain way.
-
Loved please, there is no pleasure in being feared
-
I don't know,some peoples 'love' sorta scares me.If it is 'real' love,then yes,I would prefer that.If not,be afraid,VERY AFRAID!BOO!
-
Loved of course. I don't want to be a monster. I want people to come to me for help, and not try to avoid me. I like attention and I like to be in the spotlight, that's why my dream is to be a lawyer.
-
I like being both.
-
Loved. What good would fear do me? When you are loved, you get the bonus of being happy, and people want to be with you. If you're using fear for compliance, love is a much better way to influence people anyway.
-
i rather be loved
-
loved because it earns a different kind of respect
-
All you need is love, all together now!

I am so tempted to say feared. Yes, I adore being loved. It's an amazing feeling, the best feeling. However, I know exactly what it's like to have it turn on you, bite you in the arse and tear you to pieces. Sometimes I wish I was feared more. I could feel safe, in control then. I would prefer for the majority to fear me, and the minority I trust to love me. People say power is not worth it, but when you have no power, you soon see the value of it. People say being alone is terrible, not worth it, but sometimes it feels the best way to be, just to be given a chance to recover.
-
Loved. Not enough people love me. I know what it is like to be feared, nothing special.
-
loved. even though fear lasts longer.
-
I'd rather be feared, being loved brings too much troubles for me, especially that you are not supposed to do unexpected things when u're loved.
-
Loved... I have absolutely no desire to be feared. I want to be a good person, not one that causes people negative feelings.
-
