I would be fine since I plan on never intentionally committing a crime.
-
Never have committed a criminal act and do not plan on commiting a criminal act. My DNA for the police is not a problem.
-
I think its a good idea for murders, rapist and pediphiles.
-
no ... no ...NO!, if I have commited a crime then I have no say in the matter BUT if I have not been convicted of any crime then my ( your) DNA should not be held by the cops or anyone else. In fact even if your charged and your DNA is taken but your later been cleared in court your DNA should be taken of any data base
-
No problem. I don't plan on getting in trouble
-
I'm not bothered either way as I'm not likely 2 commit a crime.
-
Would be a good idea if you had nothing to hide, and in the rare case of being wrongfully accused, that little DNA on file could clear you!
-
Yes, I would feel fine with that.
-
My DNA is already on record somewhere. Samples are taken in the military for use in identification of remains. I imagine it won't be long, if it hasn't happened already, before such repositories are legally searchable by all law enforcement agencies, regardless of the original intent of the programs which gathered the data.
-
Yes I would! In fact I think everyone should have DNA records...then it would make it so easy to charge people!
-
hell no they can't have my DNA until they can prove i was involved in something illegal until then i hell no+5.
-
Absolutely not, DNA holds so much information about you that other agentcies would be very interested in having, such as insurance companies, future employers, ect. Besides if everyones DNA was on the data base wouldn't criminals change tactics and perhaps even discredit the data base by planting evidence. No too much could go wrong. After all does CCTV work as they said id would, I think not.
-
I have nothing to hide. If it were taken and I wasn't found guilty of any crime I would demand that it be taken off the record. Out of principle more than anything, not because I felt uncomfortable. If I or anyone else were convicted of a crime, then DNA should be kept on record. Besies, the government and EU can't be trusted to keep any kind of data safe for too long before it ends up in a pub car park or on a tube. So why should I entrust them with details of my DNA?
-
I would not be comfortable if they had my DNA,for it is none of their business .
-
No Way! it presumes that i am going to commit a crime, which i will not. we are supposed to be presumed "innocent until proven guilty" in the US, so why would they want the DNA of an innocent, law-abiding citizen? i am very uncomfortable trusting any government entity with my personal information, even the census makes me queasy
-
No I wouldn't feel okay with it because I don't want them to make a computer or human error and implicate me in something I didn't do.
-
Heck No! They's guvment ain't gunna make no clonies outta me, nosirr!
-
That would not bother me a bit. I have nothing at all to hide.
