  • I think intelligence is overrated. Sure we have a bigger brainbox than some of our ancestors, but we are scrambling our brains with drugs in ever increasing numbers. eg marijuana use: http://www.marijuanaaddiction.info/brain-damage-marijuana.htm
  • no, we're getting more domesticated and as a result our brain capacity has actually shrunk
  • Intelligence and technological advances are two different things. We weren't on AB 15 years ago, but we are now. We've advanced technologically. We're still waging war over money, religious differences, territory, etc. That indicates a tremendous lack of intelligence. Just because we CAN do a thing, does not necessarily mean we MUST do that thing...or something like that. Somebody smart said that once.
  • As a species we are pretty much as intelligent (at least potentially) as we were 10000 years ago. But, given the simulation that we get through computers and other mental activities, we are probably getting more and more intelligent, or at least we can use our brains more efficient.
  • Have you seen our leader? No we are not becoming measurably more intelligent. We voted him in twice. MSNBC
