    Individually wrapped foil packets of diced potatoes seasoned with chopped green onions, a slice of butter, and salt/pepper to be cooked on the grill along side the corn-on-the-cob.
    .
    Kabobs with steak, sliced bell peppers, onion bulbs, and mushrooms, marinated all night in Zesty Italian Salad dressing.

    I'd bring coleslaw as a side dish: bag of cabbage, etc. with Kraft coleslaw dressing and a handful of dark raisins. Everybody always loves this and it takes just seconds to put together (don't make it ahead, btw, cause last minute is best). If I am bringing meat, it's all good on the barbecue
