  • I'm the same way, and here's my advice: Try to remember that being a teenager is (supposedly anyway) the best time of your life, so try to wait a little before acting mature, and enjoy the time you have left in being a teenager. Now, this doesn't mean you have to act the way that other teens do, just try to hold off a little bit on the growing up thing.
  • If you admit that you act older for people your age, than you are actually yourself stating that you are not normal, as normal 16 year olds would act like ...well...16 year olds. If you've grown up a bit quicker though, that's great. You'll have a smoother ride through adolescence, be better at holding a stable relationship and good job, and probably do better in school. Enjoy your abnormality! You don't need to "do" a thing!
