As mentioned in my earlier post I used to be a hairdresser but have always been interested in more natural products. There is a natural alternative to tone down brassy blonde pre lightened hair.

Most blonde enhancers work by using a violet or purple coloured toner or shampoo to neutralise the yellowness and bassyness in blonded hair the reason for this is because there is such an item known as the colour wheel used by artist is is just a colour chart which shows how you mix and nuetralise colours the opposite from red is green the opposit from blue is orange and the opposite from yellow is violet so to rid yellow tones from blonde you use violet colours

The Natural way of doing this

Use a resonable infusion of hollyhock purplle blue flowers to remove the yellow from grey or blonded hair and restore the pure whitey blondness back

And infusion is just where you ad boiling water to the plant usually dried plant matter and leave it to go cold some plants require brusing with a spoon you may need to apply the infusion more than once to get the desired effect another alternative is to mix a few drops of red and blue food colouring to your shampoo to make a light purple shampoo

Either way make sure you lather it up well and leave it in your hair as long as you can while you are in the shower the more frequently you use it the more the colour with be reduced from your hair

    Hope this helps

Tips and Tricks for Beauty-Household-Medical and More

Remove Yellow or Brassiness from Hair-

Tip #1 mix two parts of any kind of conditioner to one part of grape juice & leave it in my hair for about twenty minutes.

Tip #2- lemon juice and water, just squeeze the juice of a lemon and put it into a spray bottle topped with water, lemon juice has natural bleaching qualities, so it will take out the brassy tones in hair, also great for a chemical free lightening procedure, just pop it in wet hair and let the sun dry it.

Tip #3 - use Dish Soap or Tide ( the kind you wash your dishes with) just a nickel size.

Tip #4- If it's dyed, toothpaste with peroxide in it.

Tip#5- tomatoe sauce does the trick
