Sadly, Pyromania by Def Leppard was the first album I ever bought. I was around 5 or 6 I think.

The first great CD I bought was The Smashing Pumpkins' "Mellon Collie and the Infinite Sadness."

But the first CD that I bought that I was completely and utterly blown away when I heard it was The Hives' "Veni Vidi Vicious." I had no clue that music could get that raw and powerful. Mmmmmmmmmm....music.

- I sit in a cubicle and deal with paperwork or filing all day long. I hate the office setting, I feel like the cube is a little cage. :P I have to get a new job soon, though, as my 'services aren't required' past the end of this month. It's basically a paid summer internship as an office assistant. The paycheck is nice, but taking a break from having a job will be just as nice...

- Hah, yeah, sleep and I are one with eachother. I plan to sleep at some point soon. Not too soon, because it's too early yet. :P Next summer, I will be looking for a place to live, lol. the first record i ever asked for was michael jackson's "thriller".

the first record i ever bought on my own was the smashing pumpkins' "gish" when i was like, 11. i was so confused, but i knew i liked it. that's the album that made me want to play guitar.

A CD? Bruce Hornsby, the Way It Is. I was between 33 and 34, around 1991 and 1992. About a record, probably a 45 record, when I was in eight or ninth grade, so I was an early teenager.

That would have been Bush's Sixteen Stone which here in Canada Bush was known as BushX due to copy write soemthing or others... Awesome cd, still own and listen to the same copy!
