ou can get some GREAT deals at pawn shops ... I've purchased stereos there that are still working fine today .. Paid about $75 for each one. I have TWO televisions from a local pawn shop ... Only paid $125 for the 32" and $140 for the 34" ... work well with my Direct TV boxes ... I love to buy DVDs at the pawn shop ; usually about $5.00 each .. less than the used dvd shops sell them for .... Also ; there are good buys on Jewelry items and tools . It is almost like shopping at a mini flea market ....

I've bought a few item as a pawn shop. I got a fender guitar amplifier at a pawn shop years ago. I used if for a number of years and it still works. Good brand. I also bought a 20 gauge shotgun for my son to learn hunting. I sold it again after he got an automatic.

Hi, Babe. Interesting question and my answer will probably surprise you. I have never been inside a Pawn Shop. I have pressed my nose against the glass and peered inside..what's displayed in the window and what lies beyond on the shelves. But the whole concept of Pawn Shop seems so very sad to me. Having to part with treasures (at least the memories surrounding them) seems infinitely sad to me. People/hard times. A Pawn Shop is where you take things that you intend to buy back when you can afford it..meaning that they have meaning to you, otherwise you'd simply sell it or give it to Good Will. Too sad. Do you feel the sadness when you enter a Pawn Shop? Happy Tuesday! :) ((hugs))
