  • Did you flush out the system, replace radiator or hoses if bad? How about the thermostat or heater core? Fix any leaks and refill the system?
  • yeah, I was going to say radiator or blown hose.. flush it and see if a puddle is leaking under your car, if so try some of that radiator sealant for a quick fix.
  • most likely head gasket
  • Well, yesterday you probably needed a new radiator hose or a new radiator. Today, if you ran it to overheating again without fixing it, you probably need a new engine. Never run a car that has been overheating. Get off the road immediately, tow it to the garage and get it fixed without restarting it.
  • it could be one of a number of things check all the hoses that run from the radiator and the coolant container if its none of them check your thermostat it might have broken alot do this time of the year and if its not that your radiator might have cracked either one do not drive your car until fixed you will blow the motor because it cant cool itself and when you fix it dont fill with plain coolant mix with appropriate level of distilled water
  • If it was smoking white smoke from the tail pipe then your head gasket is toast. If it overheated and is now constantly overheating, probably the head gasket. Have a mechanic compression test your engine. If you already replaced the radiator and any broken lines you can also replace the thermostat. A stuck-closed thermostat can overheat your engine.
  • sounds like a radiator hose. have a mechanic to a compression check.
