If you were to put a coin into an empty bottle and then insert a cork into the neck, how could you remove the coin without taking out the cork or breaking the bottle?

    Push the cork all the way through then dump the coin. That, or sell the bottle for the cost of bottle + value of the coin.

    Ask someone else to do it... technically you didn't take out the cork, nor did you break the bottle...

    or you could use a glass cutter to cut a hole in the bottle (assuming the bottle is glass), or cut a hole in the bottle... you did not technically break the bottle, you just cut a hole in it...

    (by the way i'm just telling you ways of technically not doing it without pushing the cork through assuming the cork was a cork that fits in the neck and not in a cap as well.)

    Simply99 is correct. push the cork into it! But if you sell it you do not have the same coin. BUT you may end up with more? ah another question now.

    This is similar to Someguy's, but could you force the cork into the bottle (or chip it into bits with a knife) and then retrieve the coin?

    I don't want to go too far outside of the box... I'll try again if this isn't the best answer.

    Reach into the bottle and get the coin. The cork did not fit the neck of the bottle and fell to the bottom with the coin.
