Its so early, its so hard to say. So much of it will depend on the success/failure of his economic plan. That may very well be the linchpin for 2012. Its a hell of a lot of money, and a hell of a card to play. I think Obama knows this, which is why he has apparently said in private that he intends to spend all his political capital early in his first term, ,at the height of his popularity when his party holds near supermajorities in both houses of Congress. Given the difficulties that the new President, whomever it was going to be, was going to inherit, there was a good chance that the President would fall short of their campaign promises, whatever their good intentions, and would be vulnerable for reelection. In the case of McCain, there was a decent chance that he wouldn't seek a second term one way or the other. So it really depends. One thing I will say though is that the Republican Party is disorganized, deeply divided, and not in a good position to take on Obama at the moment. They can't just take for granted that if Obama screws up the people will come running back to them. They've got to do a lot of work of their own to improve their public image.

I really hope he doen`st even finish the first one.

President Obama is aiming for 2 to 2 1/2 terms. Eight to ten years out of his own mouth. DR away, but his words can't be changed. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1PAfFm0om-M

Obviously, at least one term. I do know that Obama has refigured his administration and has allowed the consensus to be under the direct control of his chief of staff, Rahm Emanuel, who is the staunch liberal enforcer of the white house. In short, he is gerrymandering, ie reconfiguring district lines, to make key election districts more liberal, thereby slanting the chance of a GOP member winning in 2012. That is something that CNN, ABC, NBC, and MSNBC are just not covering for good reason. Therefore, Obama and his administrative colleagues are doing all they can to make a second Obama term a thing of reality and just not a pipe dream. I hope Rush Limbaugh rises up again, draws some fire from the Dems, while Palin and Jindal take on Barack and Joe the Dumber.

Who knows...I am hoping more than one though.
-
Hopefully 2, but no more than that.
-
i feel very confident he will serve both terms allowable if people were willing to put up with an embarrassing loser like clinton, obamas a shoe-in
-
well hopefully the American people will wake up and realize their government has been hi-jacked by the bankers before the next election. hopefully 2012 will be the year of the Freedom Revolution. We need more Ron Pauls

-
2
-
Doce.
-
I think alot of americans like him so maybe 2?
-
I think he will very likely serve two terms.
-
This is it.
-
two. I know many people are answering based on what they want, but even fox "let's do everything we can to undermine Obama" news shows he still has high approval ratings with the only group reflecting negatively on him is the obviously biased Republican demographic which is rapidly shrinking. As of now, the Republicans have no front runners that appeal beyond their narrowing base. Palin certainly would lose because she has zero appeal among moderates and independents. A woman who is totally against choice loses votes among the demographic that potentially would have been her strength...other women. Only right wing women are going to vote for her and that's not enough since more women in this country are pro-choice than not.
-
1 I think he has broken a lot of laws already like the National Debt Statuate he could be impeached for his reckless spending.
-
2, easily. There is no credible opposition.
-
I sure hope he gets two terms to try to dig us out of the other parties failed system!
-
At the rate he's going, he's going to be luck if he can make it through 1 term. He is destroying the United States and it is going to take years to undo what he has done even in his first 100 days. Obama and his cronies are a disaster.
-
Two
-
He's a one trick pony. He wont see a second term.
-
2 terms ...more if the people have brains ... oh I forgot thats one thing the Republicans don't have anymore since they sat on their and watched the U.S. free fall of a cliff!
-
just one
-
The standard 2. But only if the Republicans can't figure out an Amendment to the Constitution for Presidential term limits that only applies to Democrats.
-
A half term
-
He will not make the full term I think. He will bail for too much he can not handle.
-
He will be elected Dictaotor and be in office for 45 years
-
I think he will continue to serve until the US is no longer a world power.
-
2, unless we decide he's good enough to overturn term limits.
-
Hopefully just one. I don't think I could survive being taxed the crap out of.
-
Two terms
-
I guess we will see and find out!
-
1 for sure but not a day over 2.

It depends on if the GOP can come up with a semi-decent opponent next time.
