    So far a cessna they can be up to a 6 ft wingspan they have that one that are made huge and then I've seen some piper j3 cubs in huge model scale before. Tower hobbies sells some big boys.

    For Training?
    Probably any 40 size such as a PT40 or Goldberg Eagle II if you want to build it. Build it 2-axis and it'll be easier to learn on but too quick to outgrow... So go with 3-axis and build it with aielerons.

    Lots of ARFs too in that size, 40 engine with 50" to 60" wingspan.

    You can also learn on some inexpensive combo electrics.
