I am so thrilled! The fact that the Calvin Borel rode "Mind That Bird" to victory in the Kentucky Derby and then switched to ride "Rachel Alexandra" today is just remarkable! They should take this entire season and do as Moonlightsal suggests - make a movie!! :-))
    Great Question, Blessed Coat!!

It was a surprising outcome with an excellent job done by Calvin Borel. The small gelding out classed all the others with his powerful performance. It would have made a great movie.

It certainly shows that the small guy sometimes can win even when the odds are against him. Kudos to the winner.

It was ok, just another race to me. I do realize people get thrilled over it and I am happy for them. Enjoy and be happy.
