When I was in my teen years, that's when I did my heavy drinking, probably because I was too young. I never really counted, but I would say 2 to 3 six packs.
-
Back in my drinking days it would be around 18! Yes 18! And not be totally sh*t faced! Glad I stopped doing that! Phewwwww so not healthy!!! +5
-
1/2. beer was gross.

Over a day...somewhere around 20 pints (thats a 20oz pint as opposed to the U.S 16oz pint) : )

My brother and hubby - they can finish off a 30 pack, then do shots, then more beer. They don't do that often - because they only see each other about once a year. They have a good time and catch up with each other. I watch and enjoy the commadarie!

Zero.

Lots and lots and lots...in a relatively short time! It was all part of my fraternity initiation. An initiatee was put in a chair atop a table facing the brothers. There were buckets nearby. The brothers would ask the initiatee questions nearly impossible answer...e.g., "Chuck, what's my social security number?" When the correct answer was not forthcoming, the initatee had to gulp down a shot followed by chuggin' a glass of beer! Then, the next question..."Chuck, what my Mother's maiden name?" Questions continued until the initiatee hurled! Hurling "prematurely" wasn't acceptable, for those initiated during years earlier had figured out that if they ate heavily before the initiation, they would barf fast! The brothers were on to that, and you'd hear a "Oh, no, That Dog Don't Hunt!"! You hurl early, and they'd just make you go through it again...on an empty stomach...or slump off the chair. Needless to say, by the time your session was complete you couldn't even come up with a slurred joke answer, you did your barfing routine [some of us trying to hit a brother or two with it :-)] and we were taken down from the table. Forget about walkin'! Oh, yeah, those great bastards were laughin' their asses off! OK, I've shared my 1956 college fraternity initiation...you kinda asked for it. LOL To our credit we were the only fraternity on our campus who didn't paddle, which always did result in bleeding butts. +5...just to settle down your turning stomach. :-)

30 in 12 hours. I can drink a beer. I'd put money I can drink beer faster than anyone out there. You wanna race? Cause I've never lost. I can also hold my alchohol pretty well. I'm a bigger guy and went to college in Wisconsin. Arrogant Joking aside though, I find it hard to believe some of the answers on here especially 60-70?! I dunno. I drank those 30 in 12 hours, woke up with my pants soaked in piss, and me and my buddy didn't feel right for 3 days. Not sick, not constipated, just......dirty I guess. Lol. This event was dubbed, Conrad Estebans Conquest of El Cube (pronounced Coobay) one of the 12 steps in the Doctrine of Noble Alesmen. (That's our drinking club)If you really did drink 60 beers in a night though...I'd like to hang out with you.

The most beer I've ever consumed was at the Portland International Beerfest http://www.portland-beerfest.com/Index2%20PIB.htm In the space of about 2.5 hours, I drank 21 tasters (about 4 oz. each). Mind you, these tasters were minimum 6% ABV and many were over 10% ABV. Translated into terms of canned American hop-flavored soda water...about 14-16 beers.
