I stick with the motto "Forgive and forget" It shows character to forgive, and why should one remember the past if it creates more misery. Also to dwell on the past,in relationships only creates more karma with this person.
-
forgive of course! but make sure whoever it is has apologized first.
-
To be human is to hold grudges in some form.
-
Very rarely hold a grudge, unless someone has hurt my children or a family member. Life is too short and I am generally happy and positive.
-
I have to forgive. It takes too much energy to hate for that long. I'm too lazy.
-
Most things take time but in the end I can normally always forgive.
-
Forgive. Unless what the person did is permanent, really bad, and on purpose.
-
I don't forget. Is that holding a grudge?
-
I am bad about holding grudges!
-
It depends really there are levels for everything. I'm not going to say time heals all wounds but it does help you to forget.
-
Learn to forgive quickly so that we will keep short accounts with God. We must have the mind of Christ.
-
Forgive. Hating someone is a waste of energy that could be spent doing more productive things.
-
Sometime it's hard to tell, but I lean toward forgiveness.
-
Grudge. I hope to get revenge.
-
Forgive. Holding a grudge kills your insides slowly. ( or maybe take revenge real fast without thinking... no ;) forgive:))
-
forgive, forgive, forgive...it doesn't matter what for. carrying a grudge becomes my burden so i lighten my load by forgiving...i do it for me...it does not let them off the hook or excuse their behavior or relieve them from the natural consequences.
-
Forgive. even though it's hard.
-
Hold a grudge for awhile then forgive and forget...:)
-
I'm too lazy to hold grudges forever, but I'm also too lazy to genuinely go through the trouble of forgiving people, so I usually just distance myself away and ignore them. Sometimes good terms are met once again, and that's always good, so while I am able to forgive, I don't forget a thing, and unfortunately, this makes the relationship much thinner than before. That's not to say I DON'T hold grudges, but I mean just not forever. You always gotta consider different angles for people's actions, which is as difficult as forgiveness itself sometimes.
-
Forgive and forget. A grudge hurts the one who holds it the most.
-
Forgive, genuinely. But don't forget.
-
Holding a grudge is not good for anybody's health. Forgiveness is my choice.
-
I always forgive. Holding a grudge would disturb my inner peace and make me unhappy. +3
