    A guy I grew up with in the 1970's, he drowned in a river in the early hours of the morning after just celebrating his 18th birthday. He didn't take the offer of a lift home as he was pretty drunk and decided to walk from the club back to his home on his own, about 2 miles, but never made it. It took the police two weeks to find his body and it was in bad shape. That was the first shocking death I had ever encountered and now 30 years later it's still difficult to talk about it.
