Help answer this question below.
Did you just upgrade firefox? If so you may need to upgrade your IE tab. If you did not, do you have it as a button on your bar?
Mine is on the very top right next to my address bar.
it might be in the drop down menu of View, Toolbars, Customise.
firefox recently updated to 3.0.9. If you're Firefox did that itself automatically, then the IE8 Tabs might not be compatible.
What you CAN do for tabs is right click under the search bar and click the "Customize" button. Near the bottom-right of that window there should be a button with a little green plus sign on it that says something like "new tab". Drag that to the left of the search bar on Firefox and close the little pop-up window. Click the button that you just set and you should get a new tab.
Also, you can open a website and right click on one of its links and select "open in a new tab". The "new tab" button is a bit more useful though.

You're reading Are you familiar with IE tab add-on in Firefox? Very handy, and I have had it on for a long long time. ► Now I don't see a tab at all. ◄ It IS installed. I just did it again, 5 min. ago. Can you pls tell me what can be wrong?

Hi Arisztid, my friend....I did NOT have a button on my bar. It has been hidden from me. Why? I have no clue. LOL
I keep forgetting about this Customized window. I pulled a IE tab from there and dropped it right on Google toolbar. I am used to the IE tab being place at the task bar (bottom) .. I am just used to it. But .. oh well ... let it be on the top now. I can live with it.
Thanks a million Arisztid. :)
